- Hi everyone! My goal in this blog is to meet our assignment requirements without boring you. I enjoy learning more about technology and I hope to employ it regularly in my class. I teach 6th grade social studies, which is ancient history in my county. Our curriculum is exciting and allows students to become interested in world events. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my husband and step-son. We have a Beagle who keeps things interesting. ;)

ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to figue this Voice Thread out. I wanted to comment on your voice thread, but couldn't, so I came to your blog. As far as student's absences, our students are only allowed to miss 10 days of school. We also have a Truency Policy that if a student has so many absences, their parents can be sent to a Truency Hearing with the child with the possibility of probation. In our district we have also had students attend summer school in the past just for absences.
